Back '2' School Outreach 2009

Thank you so much to all of our partners and contributors who helped to make our 2009 Back '2' School Outreach such a huge success!

This year we partnered with the Boys & Girls Club of Canton for our Back '2' School Outreach and on July 30 we delivered backpacks filled with school supplies to over 115 children who attend the Canton Public Schools.

 

 

Sharing the Love & Light of Christ in Thailand
We cannot begin to express our deep gratitude to all of our friends and partners who sent us to Thailand to share the Love and Light of Christ with the beautiful people of this nation. From prayer walking the streets of Pattaya, to sharing Christ in the bars, on the beaches, in the shelters and children's homes, to seeing women set free from a life of prostitution, to sowing seeds into the grass roots ministries of Thailand and Cambodia, without your love, prayers and financial support none of this would have been possible. Thank you for helping us enlarge our borders for the Kingdom!

 

Helping Make Grace House a Home for the Hurting
Thank you so much to everyone who helped with the renovations and cleaning at Grace House. On April 12th the men replaced the upstairs ceiling in the men's house and remodeled the office area and built a counseling room. On April 19th the women did some much needed cleaning and organizing in the kitchens, bathrooms and living areas of the men's and women's house. We will be remodeling the entire kitchen area of the women's home in the coming weeks!

 
 
Tangible Expressions of Love for Christmas
   

We are deeply grateful for your recent gifts to VWM and the ministry to our hurting and homeless friends in Downtown Jackson. Because of your generosity, on December 23 we were able to serve 130 people a Christmas meal, distribute 50 brand new winter coats, 79 Duffel bags filled with thermals, bibles, gloves and caps and an additional 40 duffel bags were left with We Will Go ministries to distribute as needed.

As you unite with the vision upon VWM you are a part of every soul saved and every life changed and we thank you!!

 
Giving Hope to a Family during Christmas
New home for Harris and her Children Old home in which Harris and her Children lived

With the help of friends and partners, VWM was able to provide a wonderful Christmas for a single mother of 7 and her children. Not only did we have the opportunity to provide each child with their wish list but we were also able to provide them with a new home the week before Christmas!!
Supporting International & Inner City Missions

VWM supports and works alongside multiple ministries, such as Grace House, Christians In Action and xpmissions, as they share the love of Jesus Christ with the homeless & hurting in the inner city of Jackson and abroad.
Back '2' School Outreach

Because of the faithfulness and generosity of our friends and partners, VWM held our "Back '2' School. We were privileged to partner with Salvation Station and provide 149 Back packs filled with school supplies to the needy children of the Lower Wealth Community of Rebelwood Apartments in Jackson, MS.
Conferences & Special Events
 
Vicki Weaver Ministries, Inc. sponsors periodic evangelistic meetings and conferences, that network with other organizations to inspire, empower, train and anoint Christians for the work of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. These events have a strong emphasis on equipping the Body of Christ to embrace the apostolic and prophetic anointing that God is releasing in this season.
